Alcoy is small town southeast of Cebu island. A municipality with a population of 14,571 based on the 2007 census. I spent most of my childhood years in this town. More info about the town here.
Tingko beach, one of the few attractions that puts Alcoy on the map (just a few minutes ride from our house) is a beatiful stretch of white sand located along the national highway. I have written about Tingko beach on my previous blog, check them out here and here.
Today, the town has greatly improved. A new town hall, more stores and business services, resorts, asphalted roads and many more. I am very pleased to see these developments in my hometown every time I come home.
Oh, this is making me miss my town more. I can’t wait to go home this December for Christmas..! I’m stoked.
